We hope you share our spirit of adventure and love of beautiful, hand-crafted leather accessories. When you visit our website or buy anything from us, you also share some information with us, so we want you to know what information we collect, what we use it for, how it is stored and for how long. We do not share your data with any third parties other than service providers. We and they fully comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA), and its recent update, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Website & cookies
We use a tracking session cookie to identify you and tailor your experience on the site, for example remembering what you have put in your basket or what currency you prefer to use. This expires at the end of your session.
We like to keep you informed by email of new products, Friends of Stow, travel blog posts, promotions etc, and therefore encourage you to opt in to our email programme. We will only send you emails if you have opted in, and you may opt out at any time by clicking on the Unsubscribe link that we include in all emails, or by emailing us directly on email@example.com. We store email addresses, names and opted-in dates for as long as you remain opted-in. From time to time we may remove your email address from our database if our emails are no longer being opened. You may re-subscribe at any time.
Our email database is held on secure servers operated by our email service provider.
Once you place an order with us, we will retain your name, address, date of order, contact number and notes of any interactions with our team for at least 3 years, unless you ask us to remove them from our database sooner. This is in order to help us follow up any queries you may have, for example in the unlikely event of a problem with your Stow item. We will only use your email address and/or phone number to contact you in connection with your order, for example to request feedback, and not for marketing purposes, unless you have opted into our email programme.
We will not share this data with third parties other than providers of the services required to process and deliver your order, such as fraud prevention, payment/order processing and parcel delivery. Your data will be held on secure servers operated by our IT providers. We only work with trusted partners who all comply with the relevant Data Protection regulations.
We do not hold any payment card information.
