Your Stow item has been made in Spain to the highest quality by artisans using the finest quality materials. All our products have been cut from Spanish leather and Italian goat suede and hand-crafted by artisans drawing on expertise that has been handed down from generation to generation within the local community.
Leather is a natural material and each hide is unique – therefore, you may occasionally find minor markings or colour variations in the leather. This is evidence of the quality of the product.
Should your product get wet, remove any residual water immediately with a paper towel and allow to dry naturally away from direct heat.
Keep your pieces away from sharp objects such as keys to avoid scratches and indentations.
Water and oil can stain suede, if contact occurs we recommend using dry cleaning methods such as a suede brush. Light stains can be treated gently rubbing an eraser or the soft inside of bread (yes, really!).
Leather is a natural product and needs to breathe. It is best to store your item in its box or protective dust bag in a cool, dry environment.
Avoid direct sunlight as prolonged exposure can cause discolouring and fading.
Do not store near artificial sources of heat e.g. radiator, as this can cause the leather to dry and crack.
Leather & Sustainability
We source our leather from a family business founded in 1889. The company is known around the globe for the quality of its leather. It is part of the historical Igualada Leather Cluster, which can be traced back to writings from 1340. Igualada is a world-renowned city in the leather industry with vast experience working with social and environmental responsibility, such as the application of clean technologies, on the biological purification of waste water, and on minimizing and reusing waste.
The exquisite supple suede we use is produced in Italy by a tannery that believes respect for the environment is as important as creating a high-quality finished product.
